Private Events
We love to celebrate! From birthday parties, to family get-togethers, and everything in between, Wander is a fun and unique space to host your next event. During a private event, you will have full access to our studio space for up to two hours, as well as an artist-led activity for your guests. You are also welcome to bring snacks and drinks, and decorate as you choose!
Resident Artists
When they aren’t teaching or facilitating activities, you can find our two resident artists creating their own pieces. Read more about their work below.
Nicki is the owner of Wander Community Art Studio. She is also a professional weaver and sells handwoven towels, jewelry, and more as Wayward Wovens. Nicki produces hand dyed yarns that she uses in her woven goods. You can usually find Nicki weaving away on one of the many looms housed at Wander. Feel free to say hi and watch the magic of yarn becoming fabric!
Meg is an artist and teacher extraordinaire who manages the studio and runs our arts and crafts classes. She has a BFA in Fiber Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and an MS Ed in Elementary Education from Indiana University. Meg’s main focus as an artist is watercolor painting, which she does under the name Paint Meg Paint. You’ll find her busy running the studio and offering a helping hand to community crafters.
